I signed with Olesa Espanyol! The club is about 20 minutes outside of Barcelona, Spain. The agreement for the 2009-2010 season runs from September 1, 2009 until April 30, 2010. Olesa finished on the 5th position out of 14 teams in the first division last season. This will mark my 8th professional basketball season in Europe, which has included the countries Luxembourg, Germany, France, Italy, Poland and Hungary. I will finally have the chance to brush up on the 6 years of Spanish that I studied in school over 10 years ago. The club’s website is: http://www.cbolesa.com/

Welcome to Spain. Olesa is a little town of approx. 20.000 inhabitants in the middle of Catalonia, located close to the magic Montserrat mountains (you can see in the wikipedia) about 40 min. of Barcelona. Espanyol is the sponsor and also is the soccer team, that plays in the Spanish First Division, in the city of Barcelona and plays with a blue-white T-shirt. This is the team that I support every week since I was a child (I’m 29 now). Olesa has grown very fast in a few years. Last season ended 5th making a good basket. Olesa hve very faithful fans that always fill the full capacity of the pavilion.
I hope you will can show your skills in the team and have a good experience in our great land.

Congratulations on your new club! I just wish we could have spent some time together this summer…your friend got sick and you disappeared without a trace. It was a brief encounter, but you made quite an impression. You’re a beautiful person! I wasn’t sure how else to contact you…hope this isn’t too weird. Best of luck to you!
